"Big Food" and "Big Pharma" Use the Same Exact Tactics to Convince the Public that their Products are Safe
These pics are from a video (below) that demonstrates how The Sugar Association, Inc., relies on a lack of scientific data research showing a causal link between sugar and ill health to say that sugar is safe.
Here's what they don't mention:
They have their own scientists who are working for the Sugar Association whose interests lie in profiting from sugar sales and NOT the health of the individual. Their scientists aren't getting paid to perform scientifically valid studies that research the health effects of sugar because it would go against their profit goals and damage their industry.
Similar example:
CDC reports "No evidence that the COVID vaccine causes harm to a fetus." or "No evidence that the vaccine causes harm to children" or, "Vaccines are Safe and Effective."
Logically speaking:
if there is no evidence to prove that a given product causes harm then there is also no evidence to prove that it doesn't cause harm. In other words, no harm-testings were performed to either prove or disprove harm(s).
Therefore, one could logically say that Covid vaccines are not safe and effective. With a lack of evidence, neither claim can be proven or, disproven.
Here are some important questions that we could be asking:
1) Who would perform the studies that might provide evidence of harmful side effects from sugar and/or vaccines so that we could protect individuals from harm?
2) How are we to protect anyone from harm when harm is denied?
3) Who decides what types of studies will be performed and can ensure scientific validity when they will be funded by profit-driven corporations like Pfizer, Inc. or The Sugar Association, Inc.?
4) Is it a conflict of interest that "for-profit" industries are tasked with researching public safety studies?
According to the speaker in the video (below), the following pic quote (2nd pic) was found directly from a "Confidential" record received from the Sugar Association that was discovered when a beet sugar building was closed for business and donated all of their business documents to a library to preserve for history...
"[T]he fact that no confirmed scientific evidence links sugar to the death-dealing diseases..." is the lifeblood of the Sugar Association.
